Most of the plastic enclosures Envision fabricates are made with UL listed and RoHS compliant materials*. The more economical option is UL94-HB fire rated material, but it is often the case where medical, electrical, and industrial enclosures require a UL fire rating which is higher, such as UL94-V0 rated. The ratings reflect different flame tests and self-entinguishing properties of the specific materials used. While UL94-V0 materials are more expenisve, they meet some industries' UL requirements.
*Envision Plastic designs and manufactures custom plastic enclosures made to each customer's specifications. Some customers do not indicate or have a preference to what fire rating is required.
